A MATTER OF FAITH (8)
DR N.H. ANTIA
A
farmer who had a hemicolectomy for cancer came two weeks late for follow-up. On
being upbraided, he informed me that he could not walk the 12 miles from his
village two weeks after discharge. It was touching to see the implicit faith
and courage of these poor patients, when the better off complained about
trivial aches and pains.
