THE PASSAGE OF THE DENTURES - 11
THE PASSAGE OF THE DENTURES - 11
DR H.L. CHULANI
I have described the many emotions which a doctor feels in his practice. From anxiety for his patient's recovery to surprise when they sometimes do not, to happiness on their recovery to consternation on being criticised when the patient does not recover, are but some of the wide spectrum of such feelings. I can sum up by saying that having practised surgery for more than twenty years, I would not trade my profession with any other. It has caused disappointment at times, but the many times that it has given pleasure more than outweigh the temporary disappointments.
